Think you can’t afford to go on a baseball trip? Think again.
Here at Baseball Chix, we know the best airports to fly into, which hotels are inexpensive and are close to stadiums, the best seats to fit a budget (without hanging out in the nosebleed section); which stadiums allow outside food, and which have the best budget-friendly concessions. Not to mention cheap and easy ways to get into the stadium to avoid outrageous parking costs. Now that you’re here, you’ll know too.
The most important thing to remember when you’re traveling with tight purse
strings is to stay central. Pick a city that has great public transportation, so
you don’t have the expense of renting a car. Cities with thriving downtown are
invaluable; it’s where you’ll find your cheap eats, cheap entertainment and
super easy transportation. It also means you’ll be able to do some sightseeing,
and baseball - watching, all while keep within your budget.
Our best budget cities are on the left Check back often as we’ll be updating and adding new cities frequently, and be sure to visit our Single Stadium section for information on road trips to each ballpark, and our Doubleheader section if you plan to see multiple ballparks in a single trip.
