Ever bemoan the lack of sports team clothing options for women? We at Baseball Chix know your pain, the chore of having to cut up and retie a boxy men's t-shirt, or swim around in the ‘small’ hoodie from your local stadium shop. Suffer no more, ladies. We are committed to bringing you the most up to date, fashion-forward sports-themed clothing around.
Touch, by Alyssa Milano
She just happens to be a big time Dodgers fan and just like you got tired of the lack of sports clothing options for women; so, she created her own clothing line, pretty smart, huh?
Touch features tops, hoodies, jackets and jeans (our favorite). Touch offers clothing in these leagues: MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA and NCAA.
Seriously, the jeans are super cute, you’ll want to wear them everywhere!

Majestic Sports features mainly men’s athletic wear, but they do have some women friendly finds. Their jerseys and shirts look more like the guys stuff, but with a woman’s fit. Not super cute, but good if you’re looking for something traditional.
Fandalia has the other sports, but a limited team selection in certain products. The best part: the clothing is reasonably priced, jeans are $49.99! Can you even buy Levi’s for that price anymore?

Shop MLB-warning this site is only baseball gear, but it does have all the teams.
Check ‘em all out, you never know what’ll be there.
What should I wear . . .?
Ah, the thought
that has crossed the minds of millions of women over centuries. This
thought is especially puzzling if you are attending a baseball game. Do
I go all out and don the jersey, paint my face in the teams colors and
wave a foam finger? Or, in the case of a more fashion conscious
Baseball Chix, and Rookies, how do I still feel like me, but let the
people in the stands and the team know who I’m supporting? Well, we
have the answers separated by a couple of scenarios to help answer that
dreaded question, what do I wear, with out answering in desperation, I
have nothing to wear!
Game with a big group of avid fans:
Go
all the way, wear that jersey, the teams baseball hat and socks in the
teams two colors. Your group will be pleased and you’ll have a wide
buffer so you’ll still feel like part of the in crowd where ever you go
in the stadium.
Game with a few friends, you happen to be the only avid fan:
Tone
it down a bit, go for a feminine jersey, like a “property of” women’s
fit T, by Majestic Athletic, found at shop.mlb.com, matched with a pair
of team jeans by Touch. We just have to say we love Touch’s team jeans,
they’re a cute, subtle and a very sexy ode to the team you love.
If
it’s chilly try a Touch jean jacket and a “Think Green” team shirt by
5th and Ocean also at shop.mlb.com, make for a cute and causal combo.
Game with your girls, then drinks or dinner afterward:
Well,
this is the perfect time to proudly display your inner fashionista; we
don’t mean Manolo’s and a Birkin bag, but you ability to still be
stylish and feminine while supporting your team. How about a cute 3/4
length sleeve top (team colors of course, this can be a plaid, argyle
print, or stripes) or in the case of warm weather a cute tank in one
color and a cardigan in the other. Then pair with some team jeans by
Touch, and cute shoes. These can be anything from fun flip flops, we
love ones studded with swarvoski crystals, to comfy sketchers. Remember
if you’re worried about aching tootsies, bring a cute pair of heels in
the car for later.
Chix tip: Let your fingers do the talking, in team colors; it’s a fun and inexpensive way to show team spirit.
Jewelry: a great way to show team spirit
A
lot of team colors involve gold or silver, well why go for the usual
clothing alternative of dark gray and yellow, when you can wear the
real thing? A pair of silver hoops and a red top, or a gold necklace
and a green tank are just as fan-delicious as painting your face, and
you may even want the display pictures.
Chix Tip: If you
happen to be crafty, head on over to your local bead shop and string
together a creation of your own, using your teams colors, of course.
The staff at beading stores are usually very friendly and willing to
guide you through their store, helping you pick out the perfect items.
Some even have beading space set aside so you can make your creation
right in the store and take home a finished masterpiece.
