Dear Timmy,

I recently found out that the guy I am head over heels in love with is with someone else. We’ve been seeing each other for a few months, and he has all the signs of being into me, but he’s been with this other girl for years. They don’t seem happy, and he doesn’t have a lot of great things to say about her…but they’re still together. He keeps telling me that he loves me and that he wants me to wait; that it's complicated and he has to work some stuff out. Do you think this is a lost cause, or what can I do to make him choose me?
